GSM Antennas

GLYN offes a wide range of high-quality GSM, GPS

and combined GSM/GPS antennas from the well-

known manufacturers Hirschmann and Mastercom.

Together with specific adapter cables to connect to the

various Wavecom modules and modems these anten-

nas ensure good signal quality.

Hirschmann

MCA189080

The Hirschmann MCA189080 is

a GSM dualband body-mount

antenna designed especially for

the car of today. The design

ensures a perfect fit mechani-

cally, and electrically on any

car. The low profile design

ensures the styling of your pro-

duct will not be altered.

MCA1890SLIM

The Hirschmann MCA1890SLIM

is a GSM dualband patch anten-

na with 2500mm cable, for

in-car or indoor antenna GSM

installation. The antenna can be

fixed very quickly inside the

vehicle window for example.

The FASTRACK M1206B and M1306B external modem

features a standard 15-pin high-density SUB-D

connector for RS-232 and audio signals. To connect

the modem to a standard PC with 9-pin SUB-D

connector, you need this adapter cable.

change the place of the antenna

The market for machine-to-machine applications, such as remote monitoring and control, freight tracking and fleet manage-

ment, is growing very quickly. Most of the network operators are offering special data tariffs for this segment. Those M2M

tariffs are made available exclusively for professional mobile data communication applications, where data communication is

needed with a favourable basic price.

On applications, where larger data volumes needs to be transmitted in a short period of time, GPRS (General Packet Radio

Service) offers a big advantage over a conventional GSM data transmission. GPRS is an extension of the GSM standard and

enables higher data transmission rates through channel-bundling. The GPRS Class 10 products of Wavecom allow data

transfer with up to for 4 downlink and 2 uplink channels.

Furthermore, GPRS has also the advantage, that you can stay always „online”, as you pay only for the transferred data volume.

Please ask your network operator for those special cheap data tariffs.
